Determine the splitter number and the port sequence for each fiber line to ensure accurate routing from the splitter to the user's fiber cable . 2. Use Patch Cords and Adapters Connect fibers using patch cords and adapters rather than splicing inside the cabinet. This maintains flexibility, allows easy maintenance, and complies with telecom standards (IEC 61756). The typical connection path is: Cable A → Adapter Panel → Patch Cord → Adapter Panel → Cable B . 3. Maintain Proper Patch Cord Length Patch cords should generally be within 500mm of extra length.
