A Telecom SC cold joint allows quick, tool-free fiber or cable splicing by inserting the prepared cable into a pre-assembled connector or cold-shrink tube, ensuring reliable connectivity and protection.Step-by-Step Installation for Fiber Optic SC Cold JointsPrepare the Tools and Materials Gather the SC cold joint, fiber strippers, fiber cleaver, cleaning tools, and protective boots if included .Prepare the Fiber or Cable Strip the outer sheath of the fiber or cable carefully using a fiber stripper. Clean the exposed fiber thoroughly to remove dust or debris.
